She is the owner of her own personal growth company, Potential Actually, where she supports people in actualizing their personal potential and prospering with purpose.
Victoria Grace Lopez
Victoria Grace is delving deeper in her seva by working in the realm of women’s spirituality, dedicating her life to the sacredness of birth and birthing education. She draws influence from her knowledge and experience in nutrition, bodywork and sacred ceremony, weaving those into her offerings to mamas, babies, families and ultimately EVERYONE undergoing a birthing experience.
Elizabeth is the visionary behind Glow, a pre and post natal yoga teacher and a non-practicing registered nurse. She is passionate about reclaiming birth as a sacred empowering event, and supporting women and couples as they move through the great initiation of parenthood.
Kimberly Daniels has been supporting families during the childbearing year for over a decade.As a DONA certified birth doula, her role at the side of hundreds of families has allowed her to understand how crucial it is to have realistic expectations for the journey of parenting as well as the birth itself
Andrea Lamont has been passionately practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2002. Her focus is on providing patients with thorough, individualized and comprehensive care. More than just treating disease, Andrea promotes preventative health, wellness and patient empowerment.
Insiya Rasiwala-Finn B.A., E-RYT, Ayurvedic Health Counsellor; is a yogini and writer from Bombay, India. Since 2006, Insiya has been on a radical journey of self-healing, simplicity and exploration; sharing her insights as a yogi, a woman and a mother through writing and teaching.
Annie Martinello has been supporting Prenatal and Postnatal Women since 2005, through the supportive practice of yoga. She has a strong passion to help women along this journey, through pregnancy, birth and beyond. Since having her second child 9 years ago, Annie has become a Certified Yoga Therapist through IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapist) and a Postpartum Doula.
Marnie graduated from UBC in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and became certified in pelvic floor physiotherapy in 2011. Along with various other post-graduate academic pursuits including anatomical acupuncture, visceral manipulation, IMS, real time ultrasound training, and a Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Marnie is able to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Ruth is passionate about helping young adults strengthen their relationships, especially as they move into marriage and parenthood. Ruth believes that counselling is too often used as a last-resort, and that taking a preventative approach allows couples with an opportunity to self-reflect with presence, and listen to each other with an open heart.
Alexandra Stewart, MA, RCC, CCC
Alexandra’s counselling practice supports women and couples experiencing fertility, pregnancy and postpartum challenges. Her holistic mind-body approach brings a unique perspective to the therapeutic process. Her aim is to engage in meaningful work and to empower individuals in discovering their own ability to heal.
Lara Rabb is a child sleep specialist, and the founder of Heavy Eyes Happy Hearts Sleep Consulting. Her work is passionate about honouring attachment first, and ensuring that families find sleep solutions that suit their parenting style.
Hannah Oakes, RN
Hannah Oakes is a Registered Nurse with over 4 years experience working in the community with parents, newborns, infants, toddlers and preschoolers. She is The Mama Coach in Vancouver and the North Shore and a mama of two! She offers prenatal education, newborn and postpartum support, lactation counselling, infant and child CPR/choking workshops, and sleep coaching based on science, empathy and support. She is passionate about providing education and support tailored specifically to each family to help make parenthood easier.
Hi! I'm Rachel. I have been a Whistler local since February of 2007. Before June of 2017 I was Rachel Thom; since then, I’m happily Rachel Lewis. Marrying my husband was one of the most glorious experiences of my life. I have always been a huge fan of love, so when I picked up a camera for the first time in 2011, the moments I seemed to want to capture most were those that exhibited love of any kind. The excitement of an engaged couple, the exhilaration of two people getting married, the glow of an expectant mother, the smile of a baby, etc… It brings me great joy to catch those special moments in life...
